Create an invoice in three steps
- Add your details and your client's: business name, address, email and tax ID if you have one. You can add your logo as a PNG or JPG.
- List what you're charging for: a description, quantity and rate for each item. Amounts, subtotal, discount, tax and total update as you type.
- Download the PDF and send it to your client by email or print it.
What a professional invoice should include
- A unique invoice number (for example INV-0001, INV-0002…) so you and your client can track it.
- The issue date and the due date; net 30 (payment within 30 days) is common.
- Your business details and your client's.
- A clear list of products or services with quantities and rates.
- Taxes, discounts and the total amount due.
- Payment terms and how to pay: bank transfer details, payment link, late fees.
